Connor Vaughn

Connor Vaughn began teaching in 2016 at Creston MS in Indianapolis before moving to Lawrence Township in 2018. At Lawrence North, Connor served as the Director of Bands and Performing Arts Director. Mr. Vaughn led 4 concert bands and the Jazz band, receiving gold ratings each year. Connor has also helped lead the Marching Pride of Lawrence Township to be a perennial State, and BOA Grand National Semi-Finalist. While in college and after, Connor marched trumpet with Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps (14-15), and has taught the Crossmen (16-18) Mandarins (19) and currently the Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps as part of the Brass Leadership Team and Trumpet Committee Chair. An Indianapolis Native, Mr. Vaughn attended Butler University receiving a Bachelors in Music Education, and was the recipient of the Edgar J Axom Future Music Educator Award.
