Upcoming Events
Friday’s rehearsal was a special one — the students had their first full run of the season that was truly it. The show clicked in a way it never has before, and that’s exactly where we need to be heading into Area week.
This is a huge moment for the kids. We have one more week to keep building on that momentum, and the goal is simple: Make every single rep and run a true performance
That said, we know students have a lot going on this week — classes, events, and plenty of potential distractions. Please help us remind them to stay focused, take care of themselves, practice at home, and keep their eyes on the prize: laying down our best performance of the season at 11:00 AM on Saturday.
Lastly, we want to invite you to MISD Stadium on Thursday night at 7:45pm, and Friday to the Band Lot at 6:00pm, to give the kids a true performance environment. Please see the document I linked above with the districts new policies on attending a stadium rehearsal/run-through. It is important we follow these rules so that you can continue to come watch run throughs at the stadium.
Thank you to all who helped with hosting 6A Area contest yesterday. High and Boyd volunteers were extremely thankful that we pitched in to help this year, and the students who volunteered made a wonderful impression on our other McKinney parents!
