The Road to Essentially Ellington
The Road to Essentially Ellington campaign supports an extraordinary opportunity for our students: performing at Essentially Ellington in New York City. This invitation places McKinney North Jazz among the finest high school jazz programs in the world. It reflects years of dedication, countless rehearsals, and a culture of excellence built by our students, families, and community.
Our goal is simple: remove financial barriers so that every student can stand on that stage with pride!
When you support this campaign, you are not just funding travel — you are investing in discipline, artistry, confidence, and a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience. You are helping our students represent McKinney on an international stage and showing them that their community believes in their dreams.

Our Symphony Orchestra Pre-UIL Concert is this Monday at 6:30 PM. We hope you’ll join us as they prepare for UIL and continue refining their performance. It’s always a special opportunity to share this music with a live audience before contest season!
